Seasoned artists share their experiences in the trenches through moderated conversations and breakout sessions about craft, collaboration, and career-building in independent film, with a focus on writing, directing, and producing. Whether you're an emerging filmmaker, an experienced artist, or a film enthusiast, come join us for a free day of conversations, hosted by Sundance Institute.

The Nightlight Cinema is located at 30 North High Street in downtown Akron. It opened on July 1, 2014 thanks to key grants from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and GAR Foundation. 

Hours: Open seven days a week. Box office, bar, and concessions open 30 minutes before the first show of the day and close when the last show ends. Typically, this is from 6:30pm to 11:00pm.

Parking: Parking is available at meters on High Street. Street parking is free after 6pm and throughout the weekend. Parking is also available at the High/Market Parking Deck next to the Akron-Summit County Library and across from the Akron Art Museum.

The Nightlight Cinema is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
